Please have your brush out at the curb by end of day on Oct. 9th! See below for specifications:
FInal Fall brush pick-up will start the second Monday in October (Oct. 10th, 2022). This process will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, and we will not be extending the pick-up, or picking up brush that is put out after Sunday, Oct. 9th.
Limbs should be no more than 6 feet long and placed at the curb with the trunk facing the street. Your cooperation with this will greatly increase the efficiency at which we can pick up the brush.
Brush in containers WILL NOT be picked up. Yard waste and leaves are not included in the pick-up, and we encourage you to take these items to the Residential Yard Waste Facility.
Please be aware that raking leaves into the street is against Village Ordinance and the Village of Germantown WILL NOT pick up such leaves. We encourage you to take your leaves to the Residential Yard Waste Facility.
Please observe the following guidelines: NO BUCKTHORN will be collected curbside or accepted at the Residential Yard Waste Facility.

As an alternative, a :FREE: burn permit can be obtained by one of three methods:
~ Call Station 2 at 262-502-4701, ext 1714
~ Email firstname.lastname@example.org
~ Visit Station 2 in person. Station 2 is located at N115 W18752 Edison Drive. Only the property owner may apply for a permit. More info about burning yard waste can be found on the Village website: https://www.germantownwi.gov/191/Fire-Department
Starting in 2023 the Village will no longer be picking up brush in May and October. Moving forward, there will be a SINGLE brush pick-up that will take place in early June. The change accommodates buckthorn collection when the plant is least likely to contain berries which spread the invasive plant throughout the Village.
