INTERESTED IN SERVING ON A VILLAGE OF GERMANTOWN BOARD, COMMITTEE, OR COMMISSION?


The Village Board appoints citizen members to the Village of Germantown Committees and Commissions and is always seeking residents to apply for positions.  Applications can be completed and accepted throughout the year.

Citizen members serve on the below Committees and Commissions in the Village of Germantown: 

  • Administrative Appeals Review Board
  • Board of Review
  • Board of Zoning Appeals
  • Building Construction Oversight Committee
  • Economic Development Commission
  • Ethics Board
  • Historic Preservation Commission
  • Library Board
  • Park & Recreation Commission
  • Plan Commission
  • Police and Fire Commission
  • Senior Center Advisory Committee
  • Tourism Commission
  • Utility Advisory Committee

TO APPLY:

Anyone interested in applying for any Committee or Commission positions can obtain an Application for Board, Committee, or Commission from the Village Clerk's Office at Village Hall, N112 W17001 Mequon Road or by calling 262-250-4745. 

Please consider listing more than one Committee/Commission you may be interested in since not all have available openings. You may also be considered for appointment to more than one Committee/Commission if your schedule allows. 

Return the completed form and a copy of your Photo ID to the Village Clerk's Office for review and consideration by the Village Board.

TO APPLY FOR REAPPOINTMENT (CURRENT CITIZEN MEMBERS ONLY): 

At the end of a term, any citizen member currently holding a seat on a Committee or Commission can obtain an Application for Reappointment to a Board, Committee, or Commission from the Village Clerk's Office at Village Hall, N112 W17001 Mequon Road or by calling 262-250-4745. 

Return the completed form and a copy of your Photo ID to the Village Clerk's Office for review and consideration by the Village Board.
