FULL RIGHT-OF-WAY MOWING TO START SEPTEMBER 6TH

Ditch mowing takes place twice per year. A single pass was completed, and roadway intersection corners were widened in May.

Starting on September 6th, a full right-of-way mowing will take place.  

Please note:  Once this task starts, it will take until about the end of November to complete village wide!

FINAL FALL BRUSH PICK-UP STARTS ON OCT. 10TH

Please have your brush out at the curb by end of day on Oct. 9th! See below for specifications:

FInal Fall brush pick-up will start the second Monday in October (Oct. 10th, 2022). This process will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, and we will not be extending the pick-up, or picking up brush that is put out after Sunday, Oct. 9th.

STARTING IN 2023 - BRUSH PICK-UP ONCE ANNUALLY

November Referendum Proposed Language

On Monday August 15th, the Village Board will be reviewing the proposed language to listed in the November Referendum regarding whether to provide water and sanitary sewer service to a portion of the Village of Richfield.

RECYCLING CENTER WILL NOT ACCEPT BUCKTHORN AFTER 8/15/22

The Recycling Center will NOT accept buckthorn after August 15, 2022 and will resume acceptance in June of 2023 . **But as an alternative, a :FREE: burn permit can be obtained by one of three methods:

~ Call Station 2 at 262-502-4701, ext 1714

~ Email burnpermits@germantownwi.gov

~ Visit Station 2 in person
