Floodplain Mapping Update *New Maps Effective February 20, 2026*
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), in partnership with Washington County and FEMA, went through a process over the past few years to update the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) for Washington County to reflect current flood hazards. The new FIRMs support the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and provide the basis for community floodplain management regulations and flood insurance requirements. With the new FIRMs being in effect as of February 20, 2026, this web page hosts links to each Flood Insurance Rate Map within the Village of Germantown.
