The Community Development Department focuses on promoting and enhancing economic development, community appearance and character, the physical environment, and overall quality of life for the residents, property owners, businesses, and visitors of Germantown. This is done by developing and maintaining an overall community vision through the 2050 Comprehensive Plan and implementation of that vision with appropriate land use, zoning, and building regulations.
