All interested persons are hereby notified that the Village of Germantown will hold an open-house style information meeting to provide an opportunity for property owners and residents to review the option of converting to automated refuse collection.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Village Board Room, Village Hall, N112 W17001 Mequon Road, Germantown, WI 53022, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You may attend anytime during these hours.
The primary purpose of the meeting is to notify the public a new contract is being negotiated with Waste Management and automated refuse collection is being considered for numerous reasons not least of which is a savings of $194,000 over the 5-year contract.
Representatives from the Village of Germantown and Waste Management will be available to discuss concerns and public input is encouraged. A take-home handout and comment form will also be available.
