Stephan Braun purchased the property in 1845. He then built the home and barn that is there now in 1858. The home and property stayed in the Braun family for 122 years. Grover and Carol Braun split the current property from the farmland and sold the home in 1967.  Between 1967-1992 it was sold a few more times without much upkeep. In 1992 Pierre H. LeTourneau purchased the property. He fully restored the house as it looks today. As of this designation his family continues to maintain the house, barn, and property. 

 

This home received Germantown Historic Designation in 2022
